ධම්ම පදයෙන් බිඳක්...(6)

පරෙ ච න විජානන්ති 

මයිමෙත්ථ යමාමසේ 

යේ ච තත්ථ විජානන්ති 

තතෝ සම්මන්ති මෙධගා 

                 (ධම්ම පදය - යමක වග්ගය) 

ඇතැම් කෙනෙක් මෙහිදී අපි මැරෙමු යි හෝ විනාශයට පත් වෙමුයි නොදනිත්, යම් කෙනෙක් ඒ කාරණය දනිත් නම් ඒ කරණකොට  කලහයෝ (කෝලාහලයෝ) සන්සිදෙත්.

thatho sammanthi medhaga

Most of the people don't know that they are going to die and distroy in some day. But if a person knows that he wil going to die and distroy in some day, then there will not be any fights among the people.

ධම්ම පදයෙන් බිඳක්...(5)

න හි වේරෙනි වේරානි

සම්මන්තීධ කුදාචනං 

අවෙරෙන ච සම්මන්ති 

එස ධම්මෝ සනත්තනෝ 

                     (ධම්ම පදය - යමක වග්ගය)

මේ ලෝකයේ කිසි කලෙකත්  වෛර කිරීමෙන් වෛරයෝ නොසන්සිදේ. වෛර නොකිරීමෙන්ම වෛරයෝ සන්සිඳේ. මෙය පෙර සිට පැවතෙන ධර්මයකි, නැතහොත් සමද පවතින ස්වභාවයකි.

Hatred cannot defeated by hatred. Hatred can only  defeated by friendliness. This is an eternal truth.

අක්කොච්ඡි මං අවධි මං 

අජිනි මං අහාසි මේ 

යේ තං න  උපනය්හන්ති 

වේරං තේසං  සම්මති.

                  (ධම්ම පදය - යමක වග්ගය )

"මට අපහාස කළේය, මට හිංසා කළේය , මා පැරදවුයේය, මාගේ දෙය පැහැර ගත්තේය" යි සිතා යම් කෙනෙක් වෛර නොබඳිත්ද, ඔවුන්ගේ වෛරය සංසිඳේ .

If some one dont hate another person with a thought of "that person had insult me, that person had torture me, that person had defeated me, that person had burglar my stuff ", they will  get settled. Simply hetred can be defeated by friendlyness. 

ධම්ම පදයෙන් බිඳක්...(3)

අක්කොච්ඡි මං, අවධි මං 

අජිනි මං, අහාසි මේ 

යේ තං උපනය්හන්ති 

වේරං තේසං න සම්මති.

                  (ධම්ම පදය - යමක වග්ගය )

"මට  අපහාස කළේය, මට හිංසා කළේය , මා පැරදවුයේය, මාගේ දෙය පැහැර ගත්තේය" යි සිතා යම් කෙනෙක් වෛර බඳිත්ද, ඔවුන්ගේ වෛරය නොසන්සිඳේ .

If some one hate another person with a thought of "that person had insult me, that person had torture me, that person had defeated me, that person had burglar my stuff ", they will never get settled. Simply hetred cannot be defeated by hetrad.

මනෝ පුබ්බං ගමා ධම්මා - මනෝ සෙට්ඨා මනෝමයා

මනසා චේ පසන්නේන    - භාසතිවා කරෝතිවා

තතෝ නං  සුඛ මං වෙති  - ඡායාව අනපායිනී.

                                                   (ධම්ම පදය - යමක වග්ගය)

සියලු දේටම මුල් වන්නේ සිතයි. සිතම ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨ වෙයි. සිතින්ම හට ගනියි. පිරිසිදු හොඳ සිතින් යමක් කී විට හෝ කලවිට එයින් ලැබෙන සැප විපාක තම පසුපස එන සෙවනැල්ල සේ ඔහුව අත් නොහරියි.

Manasache pasannena - Bhasatheewa karothiwa.

Thathonan sukha man wethi- chayawa ana payini.

Mind leads everything in our life. Mind is the greatest. Mind creates everything. If some one is doing or telling something with good mind, good results will follow him/her like the his/her shadow.

මනෝ පුබ්බං ගමා ධම්මා - මනෝ සෙට්ඨා මනෝමයා

මනසා චේ පදුට්ඨෙන      - භාසතිවා කරෝතිවා

තතෝ නං  දුක්ඛ මං වෙති  - චක්කංච වහතෝ පදං

සියලු දේටම මුල් වන්නේ සිතයි. සිතම ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨ වෙයි. සිතින්ම හට ගනියි. සිත නරක කරගෙන යමක් කී විට හෝ කලවිට එයින් ලැබෙන දුක් විපාක හරකෙකු පසුපස එන කරත්ත රෝදය මෙන් ඔහු පසු පස හඹා  එයි.

thathonan dukkha man wethi - chakkancha wahatho padan

සබ්බ පාපස්ස අකරණං 

කුසලස්ස උප සම්පදා

සචිත්ත පරියෝ දපනං 

ඒතං බුද්ධානු සාසනං 

සියලු පාපයන්ගෙන් මිදීමද, නිතර කුසල දහම් වැඩීමද, සිත පිරිසිදු කර ගැනීමද වන මෙය සියලු බුදුවරුන්ගේ අනුශාසනයයි

Sachithth pariyo dapanan

Ethan Buddhanu sasanan

Not to do evil, to cultivate good, purify the mind, this is the teaching of Buddhas.
